Polyethylene Pipe Accredited Lab

Quality Control Laboratory of Pars Ethylene Kish Co. has been established with the purpose of creating a professional center to provide special facilities to experiment polyethylene pipes and fittings according to the national and international standard. HDPE Pipe QC Lab This laboratory is to offer its excellent services in accordance with international standard ISO/IEC 17025 with great effort in dynamic, improvement of activities effectiveness, standing progress and customer satisfaction.

The main goals of establishment and stability of this unit (system) include:

•     Increasing customer satisfaction via improving quantity, quality and speed of providing services.
   Observing laws and national and international standard as well in the laboratory
   Recruiting competent and diligent staffs in the laboratory in order to ensure about all activities regarding the test are done quickly and correctly.
   Promoting the level of proficiency and ability of employees through dynamic and programmed training.
•    Observing legal criteria on confidential and proprietary rights of customers.
   Development of activities associated with the test samples through the study and providing equipments and calibration.
    Doing well-timed and appropriate considering of complaints from customers.
   Good communication and collaboration (cooperation) with related organizations and centers such as Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran. HDPE Pipe QC Lab

Quality control director commits himself to provide whole resources and necessary facilities for achieving goals and standard requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 and continuous (standing) improvement of activities. Moreover, managing director of organization has been expected to have its full support for the accomplishment of this policy, aims, effective and faithful implantation of quality control management of laboratory.

All employees are committed to increase (progress) their knowledge about all parameters of QC lab and obey those principles. It is hoped that to trust God and great sense of obligation can be take remarkable (prominent) steps in pipes and fittings industry in our country.

The purpose of establishing a quality control laboratory is well-defined experiments on raw materials and polyethylene pipes for domestic and foreign customers. The lab equipment and related procedures have been prepared to meet the requirements of this standard and national and international standards.

Laboratory equipment of Pars Ethylene Kish

The lab measuring instruments include following items:

    Pyrolysis device for determining the weight percent of carbon black in compound or pipe
    Plastomer device (MFI) to measure of the melt flow index of polymer HDPE Pipe QC Lab
Electrical oven to determine longitudinal Reversion
   Precision balance with readability up to 0.0001 gr for measuring of density
  Differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) to determine thermal stability.
    Microscope to investigate carbon black dispersion
    Electronic caliper to measure the dimension of pipe
    Tensile Testing Machine to ultimate tensile strength (maximum elongation and reduction in area)
    Circumeter (Pi-meter)
    Ultrasound thickness
    Air thermometer and hygnometer (digital)
    Meter
    Chronometer
    Generator and controller of internal hydrostatic pressure

Laboratory Accessories

The equipment is required to test and check the quality of HDPE pipes . Besides with these instruments can assess (evaluate) the quality of raw material as well.

It is worth mentioning that Pars Ethylene Kish accredited lab which is located in Eshtehard Industrial zone, have been accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025 by Iranian National Standards organization and this certificate is as bellows:
