Polyethylene waste

Polyethylene waste , are remaining material from polyethylene materials during production, inappropriate production in production and garbage of citizens. Any product made of polyethylene materials, have wastes during generation. At start of production, products may have poor quality, and this products are wastes. In production, are trying to minimize amount of waste to the lowest possible limit, and generation of waste is a natural occurrence. In this section, we focus on the issue of reusing polyethylene waste and polyethylene pipe waste.

Pars Ethylene Kish does not use any kind of waste in the production of polyethylene pipes, and it sells all its waste, and removes waste from the factory, and do not keep them in the factory environment.

Polyethylene pipe waste is divided into several types:

  • Waste polyethylene granules
  • Polyethylene pipe waste during production
  • Waste Polyethylene fittings
  • Waste polyethylene during installation

Waste polyethylene granules

Polyethylene granules may become waste prior to production, For example, bag is torn, or when filling containers, material pour out on the floor, and for any reason, material may become dirty or wet. These granules should be collected and washed off by automatic devices, and dry with modern industrial dryers. These devices have a large volume and are available in professional recycling complexes.

Polyethylene pipe waste during production

Production of polyethylene pipe due to its particular process, have definitely waste, When replacing mold and starting up the production line, some of the melting material, as well as a few meters from beginning of pipe produced, become waste. There may also be a problem in manufacturing process for one of the machines, and some of pipe is inappropriate and out of the standard. Another major cause of waste generation is the power outage, which will stop production and part of pipe becomes waste.

Polyethylene pipe waste during production

In the manufacture of polyethylene fittings to customized method, polyethylene pipe is cut, and resulting straws of them and extra pieces that remain after cutting, are waste, and for recycling, they are sent to recycling plant. Amount of waste is high for production of injection connections (screw fittings or welded fittings), and this is due to the production method, and a lot of parts are shipped to recycling, and a lot of parts are shipped to recycling.

Waste polyethylene during installation

In projects for the installation and implementation of polyethylene pipes, remaining pipe and fittings are also considered as a waste, that reuse of them should be done in certain conditions, and pipes should be inspected visually that are healthy and in accordance with standard. When waste for recycling and milling is sent, they must be sorted according to the grading, as well as types of wastes to be to be determined. For example, single-wall and double- walls pipes and straw wastes, should be recycled separately, and become granular, until have a good efficiency in consumption and production cycle.

Pars Ethylene Kish does not use any recycled material in its products.

Criteria for use of polyethylene waste

Use of polyethylene pipe waste in the production of polyethylene pipe is 5% of the total raw material, according to the national standard 14427-2. These waste polyethylene materials must be from wastes of same factory, and the producer cannot supply waste from anywhere, and waste and petrochemicals grade of manufacturer of raw materials should be in accordance with the grade of materials used. Of course, it is strongly advised not to use any kind of waste in production of firefighting polyethylene pipes, polyethylene pipes for drinking water and high pressure pipes.
